1. For the main parts of the cutter suction dredger such as: engine, gearbox, PLC control system, dredging pump, hydraulic system, hydraulic winch and spud cylinder HID provide a warranty for 12 months.
2. The manufacturer’s warranty shall only cover manufacturing defects, and does not cover rust. normal wear and tear, accidental, malicious damage, careless or wrongful operation of the dredger or equipment.
3. The seller’s warranty does not cover the wearing parts and equipment from the dredger, such as cutter tooth, the normal wear of suction/discharge pipe, the normal wear of dredging pump impeller, fair wear of cable, electrical wire, accumulator and operation buttons.
4. Above warranty duties except the defects caused by the buyer’s crews’ misconduct or improper operation. In the case of the buyer’s crew failures, all charges of the repairing and the replacement of parts will be paid by the buyer.
5. The warranty period shall start from successful installation and commissioning of the dredger, test and handing over to buyer the dredger in normal operational condition. It is effective upon signature and seal of the HID warranty insurance document.
6. For any repairs to the equipment during the warranty period made by any party should with the approval of the seller, the buyer shall give the seller prompt written notice for such repairs.
7. HID provide free engineer service on site and convenient free spare supply during the warranty period,to make sure the quality of the warranty service.After the warranty expires,the buyer can pay a reasonable price for the spare parts and HID technical support at site.
