Jackup Barge
This set of self-elevating barges is an excellent example of the design and construction of the coastal pipeline laying project of the Egyptian "Seaworks" company by HID Dredger.
As the working platform of the offshore excavator, the offshore self-elevating barge dredges and digs trenches on the seabed in the offshore waters. The trenches dug are used to lay the submarine fresh water pipeline.
The platform structure is ingenious: the design is novel, the assembly and disassembly are flexible, and the design is a detachable structure. The connection of each box is a hidden design, which is beautiful and can increase the space utilization of the platform deck.
Flexible transportation methods: All parts of the platform can be designed and built into 40-foot containers, making marine transportation safer and more efficient. Flatbed trucks can be used for domestic dispatching of customers, providing more transportation methods for customers to transfer to the construction site.
Extremely low power consumption: Customers are very satisfied with the power consumption of the platform designed by us. The ultra-low power consumption of 64kw can drive the operation and construction of the entire platform, greatly saving customers' operating costs.
The jack-up barge was praised by Mr. Mohamed, CEO of Seaworks, for its innovative structure, flexible transportation, low energy consumption and high economic benefits. Combined with HID's professional assembly and training services, reliable performance and meticulous attention to equipment details, the application of this platform saved our customer Seaworks nearly 70% of the investment cost and shortened the construction time by nearly half.
