HID Shipyard announces that all core materials and parts for its dredgers enter the 'full high-end custom era.
At a crucial point where the dredging equipment industry is undergoing a deep reshuffle and the market is shifting
from a 'price war' to a 'value war', HID Shipyard today officially issued a major statement to global partners: From
now on, all HID Shipyard dredger products will use 100% top global supply chain customised products for their
core structural materials, powertrain components, and key wear-resistant systems. This marks HID Shipyard as one
of the few domestic dredging equipment manufacturers to achieve 'full-chain high-end material self-control', and
it also means that every giant vessel leaving the HID shipyard will serve as a 'mobile business card' showcasing
extreme reliability and adaptability to harsh conditions.
For structural materials, HID Shipyard has signed exclusive supply agreements with Baowu Steel and Nippon
Steel, using super wear-resistant high-strength special steel (HID-AT100 grade) for the hull and main mud tank
structures. Its impact toughness is 42% higher than the industry standard, and the yield strength matches that of
icebreaking ships in the Arctic Circle. The wear-resistant steel plates in key areas use the rare double-metal
composite overlay welding process, with a material purity of 99.97%, ensuring that the wear rate is reduced to
one-third of ordinary materials when sucking up granite debris.
