Uruguay Crane Platform
The purpose of the platform is to support and handle Kobelco BME 800 cranes working on the deck of the bridge construction on the Uruguayan river. Our customer Chediack Company is very satisfied with the performance of the pontoon.
In addition to performance and quality, the modular design enables container transportation, saving customers a lot of freight costs. A total of 15 containers were transported.
Since the platform needs to be transported to different locations for bridge construction. 4 movable positioning piles are designed using excavator mobile motors. The positioning piles are divided into 3 by bolt connection for easy disassembly and assembly.
In order to support the 250-ton crane, the deck plate uses 23mm CCSB thick marine plate, which can safely support the crane working on the deck.
