Make aquatic construction operations easier and safer with the HID amphibious dredger.

Aquatic construction projects often require operations on both land and water. While standard excavators are
designed for land-based work, the HID amphibious dredger is specialized equipment engineered specifically for
shallow-water dredging.
It can access areas beyond the reach of land-based excavators and operate directly on the water in locations lacking
suitable land access. Its operational range extends from dry land to water depths of 6.5 meters. Equipped with four
stabilizing spuds that anchor firmly to the seabed, the HID amphibious dredger provides a stable platform forusing heavy-duty attachments.
The HID amphibious dredger is suitable for excavating new channels, handling stones, pile driving, and assisting
with cable and pipeline laying. Unlike standard excavators, the HID amphibious dredger also functions as a cutter
suction dredger.
The photos featured this month show the HID amphibious dredger excavating a new waterway for a coastal
infrastructure project in South America. It can pump dredged sediment directly to the final discharge site,
eliminating the need for multiple rounds of excavation and material transfer.
Its cab is FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) certified, meaning it has been tested to protect the operator
from falling objects—a critical safety feature for construction sites, operations under bridges, and pile-driving
activities.
