With the arrival of the prime construction window before the rainy season on the west coast of Africa, HID
Shipyard's independently developed amphibious dredger is already operating in the core construction area of a key
waterway dredging project. In just 48 hours, the equipment completed trial dredging operations with efficiency far
exceeding expectations. Its superior maneuverability and dredging precision have provided a significant boost to
the flood control and shipping safety of this port city.
Mayor's Visit: Praising "China Speed" and "Green Technology"
Libreville Mayor Alain Ndong and his wife, Marie-Claire Ndong, made a special trip to the site for inspection the
afternoon after their arrival. After listening to the HID West Africa project team's report on the equipment's
"zero-emission silent hydraulic system" and "in-situ solidification dredging process," the mayor stated, "This
waterway has troubled us for years, threatening thousands of households every rainy season. The HID equipment
not only arrives quickly but also operates with virtually no noise and poses no risk of fuel leaks or pollution—this
is exactly the responsible technology we've been looking for."
