HID Shipyard has successfully completed all loading operations for the amphibious dredger carefully built for Southeast Asian clients. Fully assembled and ready to go, it is about to officially set off via land-sea combined transport. This marks the project moving fully from the production stage to the delivery and transportation stage, once again proving HID Shipyard's quick response and efficient delivery capabilities for large specialised engineering vessels.
The amphibious dredger, with its unique land-water design, has a complex structure and large components, requiring very high precision and safety during loading operations. To ensure this, HID Shipyard's project team and logistics department started special plan evaluations weeks in advance, running multiple simulations and optimisations on key factors such as equipment centre of gravity distribution, vehicle load plans, and road clearance conditions.
With multiple attachments such as clamshell buckets, hydraulic arms, cutters, and suction pumps, these dredgers perform dredging, excavation, vegetation cutting, and earthmoving tasks in one machine, saving resources and costs.
