HID Shipyard Successfully Delivers 6000m³/h Heavy-Duty CSD to Support Port Development in Turkmenistan
At the beginning of 2025, HID Shipyard successfully completed and delivered a newly customized heavy-duty Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) to Turkmenistan, marking another milestone in our expansion into the Central Asian market and showcasing our advanced dredging equipment manufacturing capabilities.
This powerful CSD features a dredging capacity of 6000 m³/h, a maximum dredging depth of 22 meters, and a discharge distance of up to 3000 meters. It is equipped with a robust 700 kW cutter head system, specifically designed for large-scale port dredging operations. The vessel will be used primarily for port construction—removing silt, sediment, and rock deposits to clear navigation channels and enhance the port’s operational efficiency and throughput capacity.
From design and production to on-site commissioning, the HID team maintained its hallmark standards of quality and efficiency, ensuring the vessel’s stable performance and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The dredger adopts a modular structure for ease of international transportation and rapid assembly. It is also equipped with intelligent monitoring and high-precision positioning systems to improve dredging accuracy and ensure operational safety.
This successful delivery not only strengthens HID Shipyard’s reputation in the international heavy-duty dredging market but also contributes significantly to the port infrastructure development in Turkmenistan. Looking ahead, HID Shipyard remains committed to delivering efficient, reliable, and fully customized marine engineering solutions to clients around the globe.
