HID Shipyard launched its latest dredger vessel HIDCSD5522 model cutter suction dredger, in Colombia. It was designed aimed at improve the draft at strategic points of the Magdalena River, facilitating better navigation, boosting river commerce, and supporting the development of local coastal communities.
The project, which spans several key areas of the river, was carried out in close collaboration with Dredging Solutions and various local stakeholders. Their coordination ensured a seamless delivery of dredging operations, guaranteeing a positive impact on the region’s infrastructure.
The dredger underwent extensive on-site testing, with results exceeding expectations. It demonstrated an impressive dredging output capacity of 1,878 cubic meters per three-hour cycle. This remarkable achievement further solidifies HID Shipyard’s reputation for high-quality engineering and innovative dredging solutions.
